Our family-and-friends microbrewery is known for traditional brews as well as the adventurous spirit that defines craft beer! Innovating a bold and unique craft brew experience for passionate and discerning lovers of fine ales and lagers. Our journey to the perfect brewhouse and brew-crew was a long road full of many decisions big and small, which all led to our custom-designed, one-of-a-kind, state of the art brew system. Consistently pouring 12-18 unique house beers, with a 25-bottle wine list, the taproom pairs the old Florida lifestyle with the comfort of your own living room!

Todd is an award-winning craft brew wizard creating brew from the most abundant ingredient on earth – your desire to drink outstanding beer. Todd has proven expertise in creating a wide range of outstanding beers. His most important characteristic is that he loves brewing beer and he couldn’t be more excited to work with the HnB team to become a solid contributor to the Florida Brewing landscape. Todd’s soul resides in Lake Hell ‘n Blazes, his body in Melbourne.


The Hell 'n Blazes brewhouse was delivered to Melbourne in four semi-truck containers over three days in February 2016. The team had a few hours to unload and stowe each tank before they were moved inside the building. Once all 23 tanks were in their final spots the brewers begain engineering every piece of our 10 BBL Brewhouse, 11 fermentors, and 9 brite tanks.

The Team


As a child, Don was an accountant and financial expert. Presently, Don is an avid entrepreneur who embraces the optimism of the initial idea, embodies the stick-to-it grit for the creation and has the x-ray vision to see problems before they occur. Don’s strongest belief is that our talented and committed team is our most valuable asset and he knows that the ideas, persistence, expertise, and stupidity that the team went through on the adventure were all essential. We’ll pour you a mug and let’s slide in sideways with Don!

ANDY PINKERTON | General Manager

Andy Pinkerton is the master of keeping the Hell 'n Blazes ecosystem in perfect balance. He picked up his managerial superpowers throughout his 13 years (and counting) of leadership in the craft brewing industry. Andy has a knack for delighting his customers and is so dedicated to his work, he's been known to take it to the tree stand with him. If you ask Andy if it's too early to indulge in a delicious and refreshing HnB craft brew...you're most likely an amateur. Keep practicing.


Jimmy knows how to play nice with complicated equipment as well as with humans. He has been an integral member of the HnB team since inception. Jimmy enjoys solving problems, taking on difficult challenges and finding creative solutions. He has the sense of adventure and motivation to achieve outstanding results. Jimmy is ready to begin brewing and drinking like it’s his job (which it is).

JONATHAN DIFRISCO | Operations Manager

Jonathan is responsible to overseeing the brewery’s business operations and keeping a beat on the intricacies of the craft beer market He reveres the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of brewing legends such as William S. Gossett & the McKenzie Brothers.

Practices & Techniques

Our oversized, 10-barrel brewhouse is a place of production, safety and innovation, it is the heart and engine of our business and its many complex systems and operations require constant vigilance and expertise.
